Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to Chris. Yes. I'm a little behind. So I guess its Happy Belated Birthday. I started off the day by putting some browned pork chops in the crockpot and adding some bbq sauce. Then we went to AMC to watch G.I. Joe:the rise of cobra.(AMC has movies for $5 dollars for those that can get outof bed before noon)Then we had a free lunch @ Red Robin. Then it was off to the farmer's market for corn. My family was available to help celebrate the birthday of this wonderful person. We ate bbq porkchops, steamed corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, and biscuits. Yummy!! What is a birthday celebration without cake and ice cream and in this case-both were in the cupcakes from Coldstone Creamery. Double yum!! Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!

Where oh Where???

Meet the new table. It was very difficult deciding where to put this new addition. The trick is to remember that there will be objects residing in each location you think about. Put the table here-That'll look nice...WAIT!! There's a china cabinet there-well, it'll look good over there ...WAIT!! The chair is there. The chair can be moved to this spot. What to do with the mail table. Oh, let's move it and that'll make room for 2 chairs side by side.
All of the confusion and hard work has to have some fun-right?! Chris definitely found some time to take the trike and its squeaky wheels out for a ride-ee-e-e--ee-e-e--ee-e-e--ee-e-e

Are you dizzy too?

Meet Yoshi

This is Yoshi. He comes to us from a game called Super Marioworld. Super Marioworld can be played on a variety of gaming consoles but my prference would be the Super Nintendo. Yoshi has been helping my brother(Chad) and I get through this particular video game. Yoshi is our little friend that is aiding in achieving certain goals. The goals are to unlock every level and beat the game. Completion inches ever closer each Friday. Here is the current location that has been obtained...

Good thing I'm not a psychic

I just finished reading the book Angels & Demons. It was definitely a book that captured and kept my complete attention. I felt as if my "final ending" of the book changed rather frequently. I thought I had it figured out, but a few chapters later-the book was headed in a different direction. That's o.k., I thought as I changed my prediction. Well, that prediction changed multiple times and when it was all read I said-I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!! I never even guessed at the ending-I would definitely recommend this book.

On a side note-I was able to obtain the special illustrated copy and would now like to visit Rome. Talk about beautiful artwork, sculpture, churches that kind of thing.

Now on to the Da Vinci Code.....

Playin' it Old School

I play a lot of video games. Currently I just beat a game on xbox, but I play games with both brothers on Super Nintendo. I was privileged to get to Kirby's Dream Course with McKay. McKay hates this game because I usually win. The other night he received his back-to-school gift by beating me. We played the 2 player Wispy Woods course. I was able to maintain a slight lead for the majority of the time, but lost my concentration which lead to my eventual downfall. I am player 2 in this picture-what happened? Well, I am very grateful that McKay can take time out of his busy teenage life to hang out with his sister..So thanks McKay.

I'm so excited...

Bet your singing huh? Anyhoo, I have been playing this game for a little over a month. I just play bits at a time. Well, I finally beat it. It happens to be the first xbox game that I beat. I usually get fed up with playing the same thing over and over. Or should I say each particular portion. I am not very good, so it takes me a long time. I'm very proud of myself for starting a game and playing through to the finish. I don't know how many times I started this game only to stop in the same spot-well not now. I can barely contain my excitement. The only other game that I have finished is the original Super Mario Brothers on the first Nintendo. I think just maybe I am ready to attempt the continuation of this game. It is another Dark Alliance, but I'm not sure what it is called-anyone know?? My brother might know so I'll ask him, but if you know-do share. I'm still singing, so sing with me...........I'm so excited!!!
