I've had several people ask for this recipe-so here it is:
Cream Soup Mix
1 ¼ C powered milk
¼ C chicken bouillon
1 tsp Italian seasoning
¾ C cornstarch
2 T dried onion flakes(optional)
Combine all ingredients. Store until ready to use. ¼ C mix + 1 ¼ C water=1 can cream soup.
I use this recipe whenever I need cream soup. It also is really good base for broccoli/cheese soup or other vegetable soup base. I love cream of mushroom soup so I just add fresh chopped mushrooms. Sometimes, I even saute the mushrooms before I add them. The mixture takes about 15-20 min when cook on medium-low. The final soup will be a little bit runny(pancake batter consistency).
