To shred or not to shred?....

I got to spend the better part of the weekend filing bills and shredding the old ones. I have a pretty good filing system for myself and am able to get the job done rather quickly, but it’s the decision to actually do it that takes a long time. Its not paying the current bills-Its shredding the old that makes me just ignore them. I always think that there needs to be a bigger pile before I start. But when the pile gets a little bigger it becomes too big. For some reason, I will make any excuse NOT to do this fairly simple task.

This is the current pile that is building up. I happen to be very pleased with myself because I have shredded every last document in the pile. Don’t be fooled by the size of this “to shred” pile it’s a lot bigger than it looks. (All documents are flat and in page protectors) Now I just have to wait until its time to do it again.

CAMPING FOOD!!!!!!!!!!

My mom and dad have the cooking-while-camping thing down pretty good. While mom is getting the food ready dad is preparing the dutch oven. They make an amazing Diablo Stew, but I like to call it “The- Taco-Soup-With-Cornbread” stuff. I can never remember the actual name, so I improvised. For those of you that haven’t enjoyed this terrific meal-its taco soup with pineapple added in and cornbread on top. Its one hearty camping meal that has that made at-home taste.

Harry Potter 2/2

Well, Mckay and I didn't get to bed until 3:30 this morning and it was worth it. Harry Potter proved to be fantastic. It is different than the book, but what movie isn't? There was wonderful action scenes. The characters are growing up rather quickly. It even had me laughing quite a bit. Harry and Ron are at that awkward stage that makes them act funny. Waiting gave me a bit of excitement and anticipation-but the movie delivered. This movie was edited rather well-I was surprised that the major parts of the book fit. I will definitely be see this movie again and I will most likely buy it when its available on blu-ray-All I can say is-WOW!! There are definite clues to the happenings in the next movie, and now I need to watch all the movie leading up to this inorder to watch for clues left for the next one or overall. You know clues that were left in 1-6 movies.
Leaving seemed to be a bit of a challenge,but we made it. I noticed several car that were in such a hurry to get 2 inches farther ahead that they weren't very nice to the other drivers. There are other peope also in the world. Enough of my soapbox for today--

Harry Potter 1/2

I am/was so excited to see this movie. I have been waiting for over a year. I have read all 7 of the Harry Potter books. Fantastic-I am already anxious for the last movie. It feels like forever since I completed my reading of this particular book(#6). I have purchased my tickets already and am counting down til show time. I have to wait just over 7 hours and I'm trying to be patient. This will be a 2 part post so I'll have more too say when I have seen the movie. The Harry Potter books(1-7) really kept my interest and curiosity going from book 1 all the way to book 7. Books 1 is really an introduction to Harry. There are new characters throughout each book and they grow and develop personalities. My favorite book is by far Harry Potter and the goblet of fire-better known as #4. Book #6 in the Harry Potter series was wonderful! I was able to guess correctly when it came to some of the cliff-hangers for book #7, but it was action packed and very suspenseful. But #6 comes in very close, so I am excited to see the movie.

Camping=chillax time

Chillax is a combination of the words "relax" and "chill". What better way is there than camping? It is the best way to get away from all your troubles. Doesn't the campsite my dad chose look so serene? This was the relaxing view that we got to take in for the weekend. Arizona can be absolutely beautiful.

The Chillaxing experience was shared with my dad and mom; my grandpa and his wife, Barbara; and Chris and I. My mom happened to be busy with dinner when this photo was taken and Chris was taking the photo for us.

Doesn't the moon look cool? Just looking at this picture gives me the chillax feeling at home!

Story time- Chris and I were approached by my mom requesting that we take a short jaunt to Flagstaff. This supposed trip would be 40 miles round-trip from camp. To our surprise, at 22 miles from camp, we see a sign that reads 32 miles to Flagstaff. Yes, just 108 miles round-trip for our scrumptious caramel apples and the heavy laughter workout was well worth our time(even though we had to stop multiple times to try for cell phone signal because my mom multitasks even from the mountainside). Flagstaff= nowhere in sight.

This is a great picture taken while on our brief exploration of the area.

I was amazed that I was able to capture a picture of the sun setting behind a cloud as it was in the center of two trees .

This coyote only wanted a drink, but was scared off due to our sudden appearance.
